He seems to take Elven Nations notes. I had to go grab one because when I attempted to order with silvers, it said I couldn't handle the weight. Possibly another bug Jineer? I kind of forgot to mention that one. And aha! Was that you in there then Kristenl?

I would pay 1mil and wait 6 days for a 4x blessable Katana. Being a member of Voln, I hunt almost exclusively undead. I like the look of the Katana. It would also be nice with the potential of having a merchant increase the enchantment. The quest was great fun, and I am glad I have the Katana, but it will probably not be used.

Nope, as he wouldn't take my scrip and I was too lazy to bother. The fellow I was with ordered one, though. At least, I presume that's what he ordered.

Mind doing be a wonderfully huge massively big favour? Seeing if you can still get into the backroom at some point today? I'm interested in knowing if you give him your gift and don't order he will forget about you in a day. Or if he will remember and let you back in, even if he is no longer giving out quests that day.

I wasn't trying to be cryptic actually, someone asked if they gave the item but didn't buy anything if there was a time limit per se where they had to buy something before he forgot you'd brought him something and made you get him something again. And the answer is no, once you give him an item, there's no rush to buy something, but i would hope people wouldn't wait for days before actually purchasing something. If this becomes a problem I may add a 24 hour hour timer or something.

Uh, yeah. Doesn't this prevent more people from performing the quest? I stopped by a few times yesterday and today and the weaponsmith kept saying he doesn't need anythine else. Can you bump up the number of people he can handle at one time?

Ah. Sorry Jineer. It wasn't meant as a snide remark, more jokingly. No offensive intended at all. And the 24 hour timer is what I imagined there would be, hence my asking of Kristenl to visit it again to see.

Usually of higher enchant than normal, with some rarer metals. The rolaren, white ora, and eahnor spring to mind for the last. The +22 faenor katana springs to mind for the first. Not to mention the rocken alterations.

The fact that you didn't have to pay 960k for a raffle ticket and wait 6 days for it.

The fact that most of them have nice shows, and are of different metals.

Now if you meant to say the auction then yeah. But hey what do I care, its not my fault some were willing to pay 32 mil for a katana (or something like that I think thats what it went for).

I mean it was known about for a while that they would sell enchanted katana's with the erithian weaponsmith, and more recently it was talked about on the boards here, when the question of attunement of the quest katana's was brought up.

So as I understand this... Only X number of people can have a weapon on order at once? Any no one else can get one untill one of theirs is completed? If X number of people all order vultite katans (something very likly) then no one else can get anything for 6 days?

Assuming the above is correct...

How many is X?

If someone orders something, gets it, can they imediatly ask for something else or will he make them wait awhile so someone else has a chance?

>Cheaper, too.

A LOT cheaper. These are million silver katanas.

Only people who might be pissed off, and rightly so, are the ones who spent 10m+ in the auctions, or bought a katana for that much on the secondary market. But then, we were told about this beforehand.

But this is really speculation until we see what is really being made.

Please oh please tell me you have plans to implement some form of hindrence to reordering. Just saw someone who got one of the first orders come in and get another.

If this is a system where someone can't order an item untill an existing order is completed, how are those waiting supposed to compete with those with an existing order, as they'll know when a spot is to free up, and can imediatly reorder another item?

Excedenly frustrating.

Sounds like a system ripe for exploitation. No wonder I haven't been able to get in yet. I sure hope this isn't the case.

It's pointless to try to come up with an ordering limitation. People who exploit systems will find ways around it, use other characters/accounts/friends. The fact is this is a highly exploitable system, and probably will continue to be for some time until it is completely reworked/randomized or those exploiting it get all the katanas they want. So figure 11 characters, for a premium account, times 2 or 3 accounts times 6 days...in other words, don't go camping out unless you like being frustrated. Sabizki doesn't do room order ;)

Until the rush for these weapons is over, perhaps they should be limited to one character and/or one account.

Only those who have recently received their ordered katana seem to even know when a slot is open...and by then the person who just recently got it has placed another order. No doubt they plan to just take them and sell them for five times what they paid to the unknowledgeable masses. If you see one for sale, be sure to let everyone know where they can be purchased and for how much.

It's not fair for those who have been waiting there for a long time. I hope the powers that be are looking into this.

If they just made them blessable versus crit-weighed, the problem would fix itself. I can't imagine the thinking in making off the shelf 4x crit weighted two-handers and not expecting people to abuse the system by camping the slots and selling the next open slot OOG.

Cheers! I have already heard stories of those waiting for days at the hut only to be frustrated when someone picks up an order and reorders. This seems to be so easily scriptable and already abused, someones gotta do something. There are folks with legitimate 2h'ers that would love to do the hut puzzle for just one katana. Has to be a way for them to get one without having to wait for the hut scammers to get bored....um..sometime next year?

So those who re-order are someone how less worthy then those who wait?

How do you know that they don't have two katana users, maybe they want to weild two katanas?

Maybe they are buying gifts for friends?

There won't be that big of a resale market. No body's going to pay much more then a mil or 2, since you can get it for under a mil.

Eventually those people will run out of a need for a katana, and won't get one.

Its how it goes....

If they want a katana that bad, do the katana quest.

Katanas like bastard swords cannot be dual wielded. The mechanics do not allow the off hand one to hit.

I still would like to hear the reasoning behind allowing a virtually limitless supply of heavily crit weighted enchanted weapons with breakage unimplemented.

Nope. Just selfish and abusing the system.

Maybe all they need to do is impliment a time frame on when each character can purchase a katana so when a character is handed one, they cannot just turn around and place another order. Maybe make them wait a few days.
