Thanks to a group of 60's flower children who invaded the park across the street from my house this weekend, I have been battling with alternatives bouts of "Daydream Believer" and "The Age of Aquarius" since sunday afternoon. Someone please suggest something to make them stop...

Speaking of the Monkees, Peter Tork is supposed to be playing a club kinda near me tonight and tomorrow. I kind of want to go, but I kind of don't. I don't know what to think of it, really.

I think Tork was one of the two that actually could play an instrument when the show started, Nesmith played guitar I believe. Might be fun, definitly would be a funky crowd, heh

Yesterday I responded that the Monkees actually found a way of having a prima-donna in the band and it was tork, so screw him since he made their lives miserable.

It wasnt tork, it was Nesmith. So screw Nesmith.

Go see Tork - he can use the $$$$ :)

Tork lives or lived in the town I spent a great deal of time in growing up. Every so often he played locally, it was kind of cool to see him play. Not so sure what it might be like now.

ps generally the guitar of choice for these fellas is the Martin. I have one and dropped a Morley volume pedal on it recently, putting a 2 inch hole in it. the guitar WAS about 4K, it'll take $500+ to fix it and it lost about half its value :.(... i r dumb
