Description: Pulling from the alchemical knowledge and application gained from your vast knowledge of synthetic creation, Alchemical Understanding allows a never-before-seen level of control of your alchemical creations.

Effect
When casting this spell, you choose an elemental type (cold/fire/electricity). This causes three effects for its duration.
1) The primary damage of ACS and USOL is set to that elemental damage type.
2) If ALK is active, the elemental addition VIV is set to that elemental damage type.
3) VS gains a secondary effect that reduces resistance against that elemental damage type.

Why?
Having stronger control over what damage types you generate with synthetic creation spells feels like the natural end-result of expert knowledge in the field, including the discovery of a way to help minimize a target's resistance to those effects.
