BMR is broken at upper levels. There's no debate about that.

It doesn't change the fact that Stolas still wouldn't have been able to beat Galren even if BMR didn't exist - and once he understands that he may stop with the "voodoo" and "barbie" and "supernatural abilities" talk. Hell, the guy combat logged on an empath, twice, and still lost to the same empath when he logged back in - a strong showing.

Achilles is on a killing spree right now. None of the 150th mages can touch him, period. I know I can't because we tested after the concentration change with him laying down and I still couldn't hit him due to BMR.

Yachy managed to pull him in the ways, but he just logged until he got booted out of there.

In practice, none of that helps. In an actual conflict, you just wait until no one is ATK before departing. If their camping script gets you once or twice, good for them, but you're still going to be able to escape.

Vinjince, dont be upset just because Stolas can kill you. And Galren has chain stunned me ... though it was with a hammer instead of any voodoo. Oh well, HC/LC, CoL, Seers, capped CJs dont matter much when you start comparing primary ranks against secondary. You can train all you want but at comparable level you are fighting an uphill battle there ... and for you barbies that is bad.

Navak, I was hunting and wanted to talk to someone who was sending people after me, so I did. If you can be riftal summoned by a MM you can be killed by a MM you are that much out classed. Talking trash to people who can kill you probably is not a good idea. Especially when they tell you they will kill you for doing it, you only get so many warnings before you get a time out.

As for being a jerk I am sure you thought your dad was a jerk because he put you in the corner for being bad. Perhaps you should treat people with courtesy and respect or be willing to face the consequences for your actions? Wait, what am I thinking, that is way too much to ask for, to expect to be treated the same way I treat people.

As long as the target does not completely overwhelm the Moon Mage's SvA-related stats, the Moon Mage will succeed. It takes a substantially larger win to get six seconds out of Dazzle than to pull sixteen minutes out of Riftal Summons.

I assumed it was WvW. If it's SvA, then it really is weighed much too heavily in favor of the caster.

Interesting; I must not be devious enough. I can think of many fine ways to use it that would not be mechancis abuse. Summon the target to an island, to a high cliff/ledge they are unlikely to be able to climb down, to the mud traps of apes, etc, where they are basically alone, cannot escape and I can guarentee one on one combat or very few places they can hide from me.

How could it be used that would be mechanics abuse?
