Foraging task for seolarn weed don't work 09/29/2007 11:36 PM CDT

Well I just checked again and Mags still won't accept seolarn weed to complete a foraging task for seolarn weed. I had thought the problem might be that the text of the task request says "I need X seolarn weeds", but forage tasks for other items eg "I need 12 birch sticks" are working fine.

From my clueless user perspective, this seems like a simple bug to fix, and I hope it can be dealt with easily.

Tracking this one down was on my list for this week. Since it's just happening with the seolarn, I think I may know what happened, I'll check this afternoon.

Sure enough, found it.

I must have been tired when I did the seolarn. It was coded as looking for "some seolarn weeds" as opposed to "some seolarn weed"

All fixed in Prime, will go into Plat later today.

Is there something wrong with me.. I can't figure out how to get a task from anyone.

I thought it was because someone misspoke when they said that the system was live in Prime and meant for Premium.

But I can't figure it out.

There is no "i" in team.
But there is an "i" in pie.
There is an "i" in meat pie.
And meat is an anagram of team.

The system is live in Prime, but still on Premium/Simucon preview.

When it becomes accessible to you, the following commands should be kept handy:

1)ASK (task-giving NPC) FOR TASK <--gets a task offered to you.

2)ASK (task-giving NPC) FOR TASK CANCEL <--got frustrated, want something different? Use this command to get out of your current task.

3)ACCEPT TASK/DECLINE TASK <--lets you say yes or no to the offered task

4)GIVE (item) TO (task-giving NPC) <--allows you to complete tasks that produce items (skin, search, recover, forage)

5)ASK (task-giving NPC ABOUT TASK <--allows you to complete tasks that do not produce items (kill, boss)
