What aspects of hero behavior are 'canonical'? 09/19/2011 11:10 PM CDT

Is there a set of guidelines for when heroes will and won't attack a barricade (living or otherwise)?
It looks like if there's another way to go, and they aren't being attacked from behind the barricade, they'll ignore it.

The 'bug zapper' seems to make heroes turn and go the other way -- but only in some configurations. WHen done in just the right configuration, they'll go back and forth between the zappers. Unfortunately, it's not predictable.

Any other such pseudointelligent behaviors?

You may want to see if the different types of heroes are making different decisions, given the same situation. That'll help you for many later levels. :)
