Your familiar is too far away to command. 10/02/2021 02:33 PM CDT

Anyone else run into an issue recently where they could not locate or recover their familiar? If so, how did you resolve this?

Mine is needed for some high end enchanting work and it seems he has gone walkabout. I tried dispelling all magic (turns out you cannot dispel 920 - Call Familiar in case you were wondering) as well as casting the spell again to try and 'reset' my familiar.

Not it looks like I am stuck waiting 4 hours for the spell to wear off naturally.

Derp - TELL FAMILIAR TO LEAVE solved the issue.

Apparently they can still hear that command even if they are otherwise out of range.
