CHANNELING the spell upon the corpse of a critter converts the living essence remaining in their bodies before it decays and transfers mana and sometimes Spirit into the Sorcerer. The amount of mana transfered is based on MC training, relevant Stat bonuses, Spell Ranks, Spirit level, Necromancy lore training the magical natures of each individual critter that much more magical creatures such as Fenghai or Necromancers would yield a higher amount. There is a chance of treasure loss when the body decomposes unnaturally which starts at 50% and is reduced 10% with each 20 ranks of Necromancy lore.
