Subdue and targetting. 01/25/2022 01:31 PM CST
Could we get Subdue corrected to recognize the critter you have targeted and if the target moves from the room that it doesn't default to something else in the room? I ask because it's annoying to have something you're about to subdue leave the location and your subdue to now strike the creature you didn't want to waste stamina on or disrupt.

Repeatedly I'll have a target I've stunned or incapacitated and then have a new target that I've used the target verb to now target before subduing it leave right as I go for my subdue. Subdue will then default to striking the creature I didn't want it to strike.

It would be really useful if it instead defaulted to

Subdue what? messaging of some sort instead of this...

You attempt to blend with the surroundings, and feel confident that no one has noticed your doing so.

A greater moor wight moves off, heading east.
H>Subdue wigh
You spring from hiding and aim a blow at a swamp hag's head!

The swamp hag is dazed!
You retreat back into the shadows.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

That hag was already stunned and I'd now targeted the wight who had moved into the location in order to subdue it so I could then ambush the hag who was stunned on the ground without a leg.
