I just used lmas restore on an iron-edged blood red invar lockpick inset with a skull-shaped black opal(a box found lock pick). The pick was only slightly degraded. Before restoring I could easily open a box with close to a 900 lock on it. After the repair I can't even get a 800 lock with it. What the heck went wrong. I am a little upset as it was the best pick I had capable of opening 1200 locks when used with lock picking enhancement(403). Using lmas appraise after using restore I get this read "You examine the invar lockpick very closely. It appears to be in excellent condition. It seems to have a somewhat accurate level of precision and is incredibly strong. As far as you can tell, the lockpick has never been repaired. You could probably handle a very well-crafted lock pretty easily with it." I would love appreciate any incite into what went wrong.
