After 20 years I will actually be capping out very soon. Casting ranger using weed and spike mostly and am wondering what is the benefit to training in the ranger circle past 100 statistically?

It adds to more dodge ranks with 618. Also I could have sworn ranger ranks help in the possibility of 616 hitting but I can't find that info anywhere.

It doesn't increase the likelihood of hitting but it does increase the damage.

From the Wiki:

<<Spike Thorn (616) has increased effect with Ranger Base spell ranks.

Yeah had it backwards and apologize. Just missed it on the wiki page. Mix that with more summoning lore to get additional damage cycles.
