I found what looks to be a bug when infusing bolt spells into your 1625 bonded weapon. It drops your melee AS and changes the damage type on your weapon to match the damage type of the bolt.
without spell:
You swing a crystallized golden handaxe at a human mugger!
AS: +536 vs DS: +321 with AvD: +41 + d100 roll: +38 = +294
With Spell:
As you attempt to strike with your golden handaxe, it sends a surge of power through you that quickly leaps out at the thief!
You summon forth additional strength to aid your spell in penetrating the defenses surrounding the gnomish thief.
You hurl a roaring ball of fire at a gnomish thief!
AS: +368 vs DS: +215 with AvD: +40 + d100 roll: +42 = +235
... and hit for 57 points of damage!
Flames incinerate left leg to the bone. Not a pleasant sight.

... and hit for 64 points of damage!
