Duskruin caused me to think of a player service. Warriors are getting W/P/S, and paladins are 3/4ths warrior... might make sense to go down this road:

Using martial knowledge and blessing from the Arkati, the paladin is capable of renewing temporary weighting/padding/sighting to an item that has not yet fully degraded. The amount of blessing required to perform this service is based on the maximum charges of the temporary w/p/s, and the CER of the item. Training in SL:Blessings, SL:Religion, and the requisite type of item being worked on (armor, ranged, OHE, THW, etc) will increase chances of success and lessen the amount of blessing needed.
