Mage Armor - Fire (520) Update 02/06/2020 10:48 PM CST
The Mage Armor - Fire (520) aspect has been replaced with a chance for a standard fire flare against a target when attacking or casting. It has a base 5% chance plus 1% per seed 6 summation of Elemental Lore, Fire. In addition, every 50 ranks of EL:F provides for an additional chance for a follow up flare if the proceeding flare also triggered.

Your hands glow with power as you invoke the phrase for Major Shock...
Your spell is ready.
You gesture at a thin reddish brown rat.
You hurl a powerful lightning bolt at a thin reddish brown rat!
AS: +322 vs DS: +248 with AvD: +33 + d100 roll: +58 = +165
... and hit for 41 points of damage!
Heavy spark to left leg. The reddish brown rat cringes in surprise.
Tiny arcs of lightning briefly dance across a thin reddish brown rat's skin!
The fiery torrent of energy surrounding you flares toward the reddish brown rat!
... 15 points of damage!
Minor burns to chest. That hurts a bit.
The fiery torrent of energy surrounding you flares toward the reddish brown rat!
... 25 points of damage!
Minor burns to left eye. Foe blinks back the tears.
The fiery torrent of energy surrounding you flares toward the reddish brown rat!
... 20 points of damage!
Minor burns to left leg. That hurts a bit.
The fiery torrent of energy surrounding you flares toward the reddish brown rat!
... 15 points of damage!
Minor burns to chest. That hurts a bit.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

The above log is a perfect storm situation and would require 150 ranks of EL:F and a huge amount of luck. At 150 ranks of EL:F, each flare has a 17% chance to trigger. The chance for all 4 flares to trigger is .08% (.17 x .17 x .17 x .17). You could technically get up to 6 flares if you had 250 ranks of EL:F. Rare, but possible and flashy. Enjoy, fire mages!
