I set up about 10-15 raffles a year now for CHE purposes and it depends on the occasion when it comes to setting the price. Most of the time it's a guess to recoup the money spent on the item, sometimes it's to make a profit, sometimes it's set very low as goodwill from the house.
With regular advertising, we usually sell 100 tickets per raffle, most of them within about two hours before the draw time.
For the most part I think our tickets are 25k for good items, 50k (or more) for great items. I tend to purchase items for between 1-5 million.
Hope that helps.
