I've bugged in game but I figured I'd post as well.
I'm noticing some weird interactions with 902 and bow/arrows.
With a plain bow and a plain arrow my AS is 56 (50 ranged bonus + 6 Dex bonus)
With a plain bow and an arrow with 902 on it, I'm getting 62 AS, which is +6 from normal. I'd expect +15.
If I use a bow with 902 on it AND an arrow with 902 on it, my AS is 47, which is -9 from normal and -15 from what i'd normally get with a plain bow and a 902 arrow.
If I use a bow with 902 on it and a plain arrow, my AS is still 47.
Not sure what the issue is. My testing as all done with a third party casting 902 on the items. Character also has 509 on, but that shouldn't impact bow AS anyway.

+6, are you only 3rd level?

It's gone up since I've leveled, I assume it scales to give you the proper enchant for your level. I thought it was a flat +15 bonus.
Either way, the reduction when the bow gets 902 cast on it still doesn't make sense.

It used to be a flat +15 bonus--so it was VERY nice at the lowest levels--but that got changed a while ago to be more in line with the normal "double your level" capability as everywhere else.
Remember that with archery, you count the NET bonus of "bow + arrow", so you're only going to qualify for +6 (now, +8; congrats on level!) no matter what.
Could it be that the "not-get the bonus" is being assessed as an actual penalty in the way the math is constructed? (Probably require a GM to look at the formula being used...)

A bow is a dual purpose item. It uses the quarterstaff weapon profile with melee commands such as ATTACK. When a target is ATTACKed with an edged bow the full +15 AS bonus is applied irrespective of the attacker's level. With the ranged command FIRE, a bow is a missile launcher, not a weapon. It may or may not be intentional that the +15 melee bonus is subtracted from the combat resolution formula with ranged commands but that appears to be what's happening.
Range skill: +50
Dex bonus: +6
Edged arrow: +6 (lvl 3 cap)
Edge bonus negated: -15
Total: +47 AS

The moral of the story seems to be EVOKE the bow.
