Armor damage padding and minor bane will give you 6-20, not 12-20, from what I remember from my early GoS testing. Dunno how bubble flares interact.

I have a capped warrior wearing masterful damage padded plate, minor bane, and bubble flares. Without doing any actual number crunching, I have to imagine that there is NO chance he is getting 18-40 or 12-40. When a bandit can swing a broadsword and deal 2 damage with all 3 paddings active, it would be pretty hard to believe that that he dealt a blow that was at least 20 blood on an endroll that wasn't totally massive.
