Since there are already random drops for certain herbs and healing potions, is there a reason why the types of those drops is limited?

It would be very nice to find a greater selection besides rose-marrow, acantha leaf, basal moss, wolifrew lichen, etc. Perhaps a shipment of healing products could be pillaged by a marauding band of kobolds sometime in the future?
