Been doing a bunch of group hunting lately, and I was curious how loot boosts interact with it.

If only Sam is searching and only Beth boosts, does the boost improve the loot?

If they both boost, is the loot better than if just Sam boosts?

In general, when and how is a loot boost applied?

That was my initial thought, but my anecdotal experience has been different.

Getting enough data to actually confirm would be difficult to impossible given the hunting pressure effect on loot.

Group loot already has some oddities to it, so I was just curious.
