I don't recall: do disci count as 'native' Thrown weapons so they give DS without having to train in anything else (other than Brawling, for when your hand is now empty, of course)?

It gives more DS to someone trained in thrown than a chronomage dagger will. I'd be happy to demonstrate for any potential buyers.
