Ice Elemental Attack 02/21/2016 10:00 AM CST
I'm wearing one of the ice resistant cloaks that could be won at the recent BMC. Shouldn't they resist this? The resistance didn't kick in.

A wall of slush and snow sprays away from a huge ice elemental.
You are pelted by the howling wall of snow and ice as it expands past you and are knocked to the ground. You are pinned in place, unable to move.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
Roundtime changed to 1 second.
... 10 points of damage!
A chilly blast strikes you in the chest, knocking you back a step.

Despite being built with cold resistance, resistance only works on armor and shields.

Resistances work in monk meditate. Dbs cloaks at one time inspected as armor (armor that does not protect at all or something)

Are these cloaks being investigated further or will this aboriginy be nullified?

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought society had progressed past nullifying aborigines.

602, 104, 105, and 207 are examples of resistances through magic.

Wearing shoes resists poison when walking through the swamp.

Lighting firepits in cold climates resists cold damage.

Any others?

102 resists the ranger insect spell (the insects can't get close enough to bite you).

Giving Raggler lot's of things to eat resists halfling ire.
