Do the critters in the Temple steal from your dead body like in OTF?

nope, they do mess with your corpse and defile it though. a few of them critters will disarm your weapon as well so don't bring your favorite down there unless you know DISARM.

Oh and implosion, dissemblers and sentries will use this.

Oh and i found that they can disarm you, and then use their war trumpet (whatever thingie) and then when you get out of RT and return to the room you got disarmed in, the janitor can have swept up your weapon (bye bye enhancive runestaff)

Very often these items are not necessarily 'cleared' by the janitor. Old-timers in the Temple have found the means to find boxes, and items, dropped following an untimely demise.

You might want to try searching about in select areas, if you don't see a creature that has generously gathered it up on your behalf.

In the event of demise (death), you can certainly recover items fallen from disk in the muck around the temple. Items disarmed aren't found there in my experience bowever.
