All,

Newb question here.

Is the 'analyze' information for the syringe accurate when it states that "All blood should come from the same type of creature or you'll have to POUR the vial out to clean it." ? If you mix blood, what's the impact?

My first attempt mixed blood from my hunting area: pyrothags, red-scaled thraks, and maybe a cinder wasp or two. Blood quality was listed as "moderate quality", yet it did fail on the initial offering for a common beast.

My second attempt used only massive pyrothags. Blood quality was still "moderate", but succeeded. I realize that two samples doesn't mean anything statistically, but the analyze information does say "same type."

Thanks,

I've had similar results, but I'm not entirely clear on how it affects the blood other than seeing a message once about it being tainted or some such. Perhaps it has a small hidden chance to lower the success rate?

I usually just play it safe and stick with the same type of beast, it's not too hard to do so given that it only takes 10 to fill up a vial.

Also -- unless you simply want the fun of gathering it yourself -- I always have a few vials of rift crawler (incredible quality) blood on me, if you'd like some!

Just look for Cruxophim in-game, sometime or another.
