Spirit Beast Updates: Bloodscrip, Experience, Listed Fights 03/27/2015 07:51 PM CDT
A few more modifications to Spirit Beast Arenas as part of the advent of character (and not just Spirit Beast) experience as a reward for beast-fighting:

Listed Fights are now handled as follows. One character per account per week may participate. You're given five fight tokens during your first Listed Fight of the week. You'll lose one fight token every time you lose. Winning a Listed Fight will earn you 15 points for the leaderboard. Losing a Listed Fight will lose you 10 points. You cannot drop below 0 points for the week. You may execute a Listed Fight as long as you have at least one token.

Winning Listed Fights will earn you experience.

At the end of the week, the top three names on the leaderboard will receive a substantial reward: a bestial soulstone (alchemy item), one to three random prizes depending upon placement, 100/75/50 bloodscrip depending on placement.

As mentioned before, you will otherwise receive experience from Blood Matches or defeating any Weekly Challenge NPC. You will also receive a substantial sum of experience if you defeat all the weekly challengers.

In addition, after this week, the leaderboard will show the previous week's winners.

I just want to say how cool I think it is that, while playing this game and controlling an avatar, a character can advance in levels by... playing a game, controlling lesser avatars. Tres cool.

Also, Auchand: you can clean up your sig-line and make it a LOT less painful to look at for someone replying to your posts, by using a double-underline for the whole thing.
