Since the character in question is a sorcerer I figured I'd ask here first; what is this messaging?

A shifting shadowy mist swirls into existence around you, delivering a cacophony of muffled voices into your mind that you can't quite distinguish. The shifting shadowy mist dissipates as quickly as it arrived.

Yeah, I just saw that today on my sorcerer as well. I checked to see if any spells just dropped, nothing....

So, no idea, but it wasn't just you, nor was it limited to one instance (since this happened to my Plat sorc, and I am assuming you are in Prime)
