Starting Stats 03/14/2016 03:04 PM CDT
Could anyone help me with suggested starting stats for a Giantman Warrior wielding a shield and OHE? I am really not good with stat placement and I'm pretty sure the suggested starting stats aren't good for long term developement as they start the two major stats at over 90. As I understand that will hit 100 before or by my 20's levels and I'm waiting something that balances my statistics more for as they level up.

Unfortunately, the WEB based stat crunchers I used to use seem to have gone offline, but if you just want to look at how stats will grow and will influence things like AS, DS, etc, Tsoran's spreadsheet should still be good for most of that ( http://cmnservicesgroup.com/tsoran/ ). There might be some things on there that are out of date, but for the basics you should still be good.

I don't know which "suggested stats" you're referring to, so I can't comment on them, but in general I try not to put any stat above 80 or so. So if they otherwise look good, you can always just take 10 points off whatever's at 90 and dump them into a slower growing stat for your race/profession.

Hopefully Roblar or Jeril will swing by.

These stats should work (but seem to be less than desirable if you're going to rely on warcries).

STATStartCap
STR30100
CON58100
DEX68100
AGI68100
DIS73100
AUR82100
LOG88100
INT70100
WIS82100
INF4180

INF is an important warcry stat, though - so tanking that for a warrior who might want to use it might not be the best stat allocation.

These are mine, now. However not what they were as I was leveling and used a fixstat later (I forget and it was originally random!)

Strength (STR): 30
Constitution (CON): 58
Dexterity (DEX): 68
Agility (AGI): 68
Discipline (DIS): 73
Aura (AUR): 82
Logic (LOG): 88
Intuition (INT): 70
Wisdom (WIS): 82
Influence (INF): 41

Strength (STR): 100 (40)
Constitution (CON): 100 (35)
Dexterity (DEX): 100 (20)
Agility (AGI): 100 (20)
Discipline (DIS): 100 (25)
Aura (AUR): 100 (20)
Logic (LOG): 100 (20)
Intuition (INT): 100 (25)
Wisdom (WIS): 100 (25)
Influence (INF): 81 (20)

I think the other base stat to cap Warrior trail is almost exactly the same, but you end up with 98 influence and 84 intuition.

I went with a slight variation on that after fixstat. DEX and AGI go to 99, DIS to 98, for a few more on INT and 100 INF.

Strength (STR): 30
Constitution (CON): 58
Dexterity (DEX): 65
Agility (AGI): 65
Discipline (DIS): 70
Aura (AUR): 82
Logic (LOG): 88
Intuition (INT): 47
Wisdom (WIS): 82
Influence (INF): 73

If you are intending to use a fixstat, drop AUR, WIS, INF well down (50-60ish) (unless you want AUR for society reasons, when it should be 82, you won't need the TD till you are ready to fixstat), give your self a big boost on STR (put it around 75) and some more on CON for TPs or AGIDEX for weapon speed.

For 30 day stats, STR/CON/LOG 100, AGI 90, DEX 70 and spread the few remaining around any which way. (lots in AUR too if you are heading that way straight up)

A useful page: https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/List_of_statistic_growth_rates#Giantman

This is for growth, but...

Level 0 Stats for Daidswarriordude, Giantman Warrior
Strength (STR): 30
Constitution (CON): 58
Dexterity (DEX): 68
Agility (AGI): 68
Discipline (DIS): 73
Aura (AUR): 82
Logic (LOG): 88
Intuition (INT): 52
Wisdom (WIS): 82
Influence (INF): 59

Looks like basically what Doug wrote, but swapped INT and INF.

The deathbot will come back eventually.
