63 rogue back after 88months :) and want to just pick boxes and hunt little 11/09/2016 11:56 AM CST

Hi all,
I have a 63 lvl rogue and want to redo my stats to be pure picker but can hunt like level OK :)
I have returned after 88 months off, i know because I owe dues :).
anyway, i need to get back in the rogue guild and redo my stats do you have any ideas on how i sure redo my training

i would like to have 403 and 404 I think those are the numbers... but want to able to log on, and help fols with boxes if needed and spend time around

Assuming that you wish to remain OHE/shield, you should be able to get 403/404 pretty quickly/immediately by dropping CM down to 1x. Depending on what cman's you sacrifice in the process and how good your timing is when hunting, you shouldn't have too much more difficulty hunting so long as you stick to the shadows as much as possible. If you don't have CMAN VANISH in your arsenal, get it.

Get your Picking and Disarm skills up to a full 3x as soon as possible after that and you should be able to start picking some Minotaur boxes if you're careful (many will still be beyond your skill).

If you have trouble hunting with just 1x in CM, you might want to consider a ranged sniper build.

As far as your stats, I don't think you can redo them without a fixstat potion. However, if you can, you should def consider taking a few points out of the stats that have already maxed and dumping them into WIS.

If you can take on mino boxes you can look at anything (magus boxes occasionally hit the upper limit on trap size). 3x disarm/2x perception/lore and care about lighting is enough for you to look at anything, but not to disarm everything you spot. 3x picking plus lore will put the top magus lock right at the edge of your range. No problem with the other minos though, they are significantly easier than magus boxes.

Depending on what exactly you want them for, you can take points out of AS/MIU too, though being lower on CM is the usual way points for smith skills are found.
