Probably asked before- 1x or 2x Combat Maneuvers. 10/01/2010 02:06 AM CDT

I am currently 1 x'ing cmans. Does your combat maneuver training 2x or 1x matter at all in your maneuver success, or is it only how many ranks you have in said said cm skill?

If I am training in cm 2x will 5 ranks of cut throat work better then having 5 ranks in it with 1x CM?

is it different with guild skills?

ranks in the actual skill, Combat Maneuvers, does affect your overall skill with maneuvers in general, as well as defense I believe.

If you use a melee weapon it is recommended (by me anyway) to be 2x in this. archer rogues can drop it lower but should make up for the lost DS by overtraining in dodging.

Personally, I can't see my rogue without 2x in CM now that I have nearly finished migrating the points. The extra ranks in cman skills alone are worth it, not to mention the added AS.

CM doesn't add to DS anymore.
