Anybody have any luck enchanting fusion armors? 03/19/2011 09:59 PM CDT

I'm really interested in getting 7x fusion plate, but not going to put the time and resources into it if people aren't having much luck.

i have a project in progress that seems to be going fine so far. 5x completed with 6x to complete in about a week. I'm taking it to 7x.

To this point, between my two mages I've enchanted 3 suits of full plate and a set of mbp to 5x without issue (several weapons as well). The difficulty appears to be roughly equivalent to enchanting sanctified items, in my experience. Even with a pure enchanting build, I wouldn't use a mage below 50 levels on anything you cared about losing. Hope that helps.

I'm on like the 5th step going to 7x on a set of fusion double leather. So far so good. I did have a temper set back on the final cast going to 6x but it was the 3% failure message. So, no reason to believe he can't do the 7x final cast.

This is capped with 75 wizard ranks.
