Husband Marcus, whom Bachmann called "the best campaigner in our family," went out on his own looking for accessories for the family dog yesterday while the rest of Bachmann's staff mounted a last-ditch effort to stir up supporters at local businesses in Iowa.

Although I do not want any of the Republican candidates to be President, I would not object too much to Marcus Bachmann as First Spouse. He would have been the most entertaining First Lady ever! He would probably have gotten more attention than even Jackie Kennedy did.
