Okay..

I've gathered that naganita's now have +20 extra AVD? instead of +20 AS?

So if they're halberd based and a halb is like... +25 AVD versus ASGEXAMPLE

Then a halberd is +45 AVD versus ASGEXAMPLE?

Little loss on how the change in naganitas are, i've read the posts, but nothing really was hitting on what i'm trying to get at.

So a 10x Naganita could possibly a legal 14x item? (Enchant + AVD adder) ?

Appreciate the clear up.

And after reading about crit weighted lances. Check the marketplace, i've recently acquired a 4x HCW awl pike, good look. lemme know if you're interested in that folder. :P

Yes, a new-style naginata is basically a halberd with a +20 AvD bonus. Therefore a 10x naginata would be like having a 14x halberd in some respects.

As a player can now enchant a weapon up to 7x, it shouldn't bee too hard to get yourself the equivalent of an 11x halberd.

Oh yeah. I believe thy are now considered to be their own base type, but as far as I know all the other numbers other than the AvD differences are still identical.
