CMs vs LOre 08/24/2016 12:22 PM CDT
So... I decided to retrain and in my attempts to try find a balance, I find there really isn't one to be had - it's going one route or the other til one far off day a 100 paladin becomes a very old paladin with many a point to spend. Surprisingly, it seems / feels that the CMs do more but to 2x in them, you simply can't - or at least as a THW user. While I managed to 2x in CMs and get the increase of attack and of course the maneuvers themselves, it came at a cost of losing spells, lore, and multi striking ability. However; those can come back in time and then I got to thinking.. what if indeed a 50th circle of Paladin spells does surface that a paladin just simply must have? Interesting enough, just 2xing (as opposed to just 1xing) in CMs took away the need to zealot at all and was much better without it.

I'm not asking for another look at the training point costs (not that I think some are just a little bit of overpriced heh). I'm just wondering the input of others and what they think / experience. I know some go for Wall of Force. Myself? Now I'm just 35 into Paladin spells and 20 in Minor Spirit.

Specifically this is the build atm:

Changing CMANS and Lores around is one of the things I typically do with the annual FIXSKILL at the end of the year if I don't need it for some other reason. Here's this year's build:

Flail, your Combat Maneuver training is as follows:
Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Specialization I wspec1 2
Surge of Strength surge 3
Tainted Bond tainted 1
Available Combat Maneuver Training Points: 6

The flail is T5 finally so I wanted to try Tainted again. Re-bonding to it still though as I don't play him that much right now.

I thought being near the (former) undead gap, 3x raises per day is okay for RR. That was going pretty well until I moved him to WL to try Reim. Mostly I'm happy with it so far. 1605 is less insane without all my Summoning, but I haven't really missed self-1620. 1617 is pretty strong, though.
