Best of luck!

Hey, how'd your marathon go? I'm running a half on April 28th in Washington DC, the Nike Women's (half) Marathon, benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It's my first half marathon and the farthest I've ever run. I've been training as hard as I can, but I'm a bit behind in miles yet. I hope I can catch up by race day! :)

If you survive there, maybe you'll want to try the Marine Corps half-marathon in Fredericksburg. You can holler 'Clunk rocks!' when you see cameras. :)

I would so do that given the chance. ;)

But let's see if I survive this one, first...

Apologies for not letting you guys know how got on. I finished in 2 hours, 2 mins, 1 second
I was really disappointed with the time, as I was trying to get sub 2 hours for the first time. I went out far too fast and continued too fast for the first six miles which is a rookie mistake. Slow I slowed dramatically towards the end...or at least, I didn't have anything in the engine for a sprint finish. I simply didn't trust that if I went at a slower pace at the beginning that id have enough in the tank to increase the pace for the last 5-6 miles.

I will definitely run this again next year.
