[Old Ta'Faendryl, River Bend]
The river bends in from the north, the flow of silted water slapping up against a rocky embankment before traveling on to the west. Slender stalks of bulrush rise from the deeper crevices of the rocks, rooted firmly in the silt and mud collected in the broken cracks. You also see an Ithzir herald, an eerie crimson mist and an arrow.
Obvious paths: east, west
Gazing deeply into the mist, you realize to your utter horror that the swirling mist is not simple vapors but rather outlines of souls squirming in the chaotic roiling miasma. Wisps of crimson flames leap out to you. You realize too late as your gaze transfixes you and you cannot look away! The utter horror and beauty of the image sears itself into your mind.
