113/114 Combine 06/26/2015 06:21 PM CDT
Given how few instances in GS require undisease, could we possibly get these two spells combined? It'll free up a spell slot which we can use at some point for something. But right now, it's just silly to have undisease and unpoison be different spells.

Please this. Its annoying to see a character die because i forgot which spell i needed (i mean sure i COULD learn which is which, but who has time for that?).

I am not particularly pushing for a change here but if anything these should logically be self-cast Empath spells, as they are for that other game where empaths can transfer disease/poison. (They are even part the same Rolemaster spell list that contains the healer Transfer ability.)

We don't combine spells unless there is need for the new, now empty spell slot. If we ever come up with a new spell idea and think the 113 or 114 slot would be a good fit, only then would we consider consolidating.

113 is numerically before 114.

Disease is alphabetically before Poison.

And Blue is alphabetically before Green, which applies to the relevant alchemy potions and the scarab colors.

113 is for diseases and they are blue.

114 is for poisons and they are green.

Easy enough. (Protip: I invented that for my popping boxes guide https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Popping_boxes#Scarabs)

But I like numbers!

In fact, I changed the Profanity FE for the "PSN" and "DIS" three characters into "113" and "114" when I'm suffering. Hehehe.

Then again, I can remember easily which is 104, 105, 113, and 114 so...

I'm numerically challenged. The only time I ever use them is for multi-cast, since it doesn't work with mnemonics. Most of the mnemonics make some sort of sense, with a few exceptions. It drives me crazy when people talk about spell numbers, because I have no clue what spell they're talking about. I have to go look them up. Heh. :)

I wish I got into homerow better, honestly. But I'm so set on spell circles and numbers by now, I haven't gone back. Maybe I will, though!
