I've got a question about pure coraesine. I know that if someone tries to pick it up, it hurts them and they drop it. What I was wondering is if it returns to your hand?

In other words, if for some reason it was disarmed, or if a critter tried to steal it upon death and dropped it, would it return to your hand, or would it stay on the ground potentially being lost to the janitor?
