I've tried "sensing" Planes 1 - 3 of the Rift for an anchor location for 1620. Any paladins know where the anchor location is in the Rift please? Or does 1620 teleport someone back to Pinefar if you have an anchor set?
As I gaze over the horizon, the wind tugs at my cloak and whispers, "Adventure" in my ear.

I don't know about 1620, but Symbol of Return goes to Voln in Pinefar, which makes me think 1620 would work the same. I just have no experience with it.

Yes, but from the Cavern of Ages only.
I don't know about 1620, but I know the way teleportation of all types work in the Rift and I'm sure it is the same rules - you can't set an anchor within the Rift. Teleportation out is (almost) impossible outside of two items that I am aware of. You must use a door or mirror instead.
One of the two is an Eye-of-Koar emerald, not telling the other (here) ;) Oh, a third, get imploded.
Symbol of Return within Rift randomly teleports you to same or other planes, not out. Rings won't work, Ithzir won't fog, 130 probably either randomly moves you among planes like Return or doesn't work at all. No gate or sorc rifting I'm sure.

Thought of another, sub-optimal, way out.
Oblivion quartz failure. If it still works and you get feared enough, I've ended up in Pinefar long ago (dropping the gem).
I haven't picked one up for a very long time though.

How about casting 930?
It's always fun walking the void when you cast 930 (instead of 903 because you fat-fingered it) because you don't have a familiar summoned.
