A new verb, BANK, has been released! This verb will allow access to various information and services regarding one's bank accounts, including:
- Account balances in all towns.
- In-town silver or bank note deliveries to and from your local bank account. This brand new function, accessible through the BANK DEPOSIT and BANK WITHDRAW commands, allows players to send a courier to either deposit or withdraw funds from their local bank account. This function is available in any town where the player has a bank account and is within the courier's limits (wherever the justice system patrols). Access to this service can be purchased via the SimuCoins store or be awarded from the treasure system.
- Inter-town balance transfers. This new function, accessible through the BANK TRANSFER command, allows players to send a courier to request that silver in their bank account in one town be transferred to their bank account in their current town. Access to this service can be purchased via the SimuCoins store.
(Please note that the inter-town balance transfer item is not currently on the website store, but it should be so within the next day or so. If you have a Locker Runner Pass or Locker Runner Uses available, you may use them interchangeably with the bank runners.)

Actually the best thing about this is that i've just learned I have a heap of funds in elftown. Will see if its cheaper to travel there - reluctantly - to get it out. Cant remember the last time I was there.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Now that bankbooks serve no function and all accounts get a free bankbook ability, the bankbook should serve as a checkbook.

I was actually hoping so. I had no regrets to ditch my locker manifest after the LOCKER verb was released.
But, the bankbooks still give the total balance, where the verb does not. I can do math and all, but it's a nice feature to see it all added up. Could we get that rolled into the BANK verb, please?

I dont wanna be that guy...but you (As in simutronics) banned trading of spells and items at the Spirit Arena, calling it mechanics abuse because it took away something from premium subscribers and gave it to the masses... The ability to meet in a central area and trade goods and services was FWI only.
Then you release a banks update verb...taking something away from premium and giving it to the masses.
I agree with the other posters, premium people should get the "For sale" options free a few times a month to compensate. It should be a perk for the "Higher Tax Payers". Or if anything, a higher drop rate ON the options.
Other than that little snag, great update!

Previously, ONLY PREMIUM accounts had access to a bankbook, which showed their account balances in all towns. Now EVERYONE has access. Therefore, the perk was removed from PREMIUM ONLY and given to the MASSES.
That would be a loss of 1 for PREMIUM ACCOUNTS and a gain of 1 for everyone else.

I've added a total to the BANK ACCOUNT display. Regarding Premium benefits, while this does open a prior Premium benefit to all, it is likely that the average Premium player will gain much more benefit from the current setup due to the fact that their Urchin Runner treasure drops are a lot higher than the lower subscription tiers.

It looks like you withdraw a 5m note on Sunday and then re-deposited it again with DEPOSIT ALL in that clip.

Premium subscribers find more treasure per loot than basic?
Back on topic, I doubt the amount of the transfer makes any difference at all to the player, the benefit that was taken away was not the deposit ability.

the simucoin treasure drops is what he is referring to and the frequency which folks find them. Premium is weighted to find their first one each month day / week a lot faster. then I think the chances are the same.

Thanks for the clarification! I see your point but I see it as more of a gain for everyone since it's an improvement for premium as well. I'm fine with premium benefits changing (that includes premium benefits becoming all paid subscriber, or all subscriber benefits) if the net result is better for me in the long run. I also seriously doubt anyone ever made a Prime vs. Premium decision based on this particular feature (no doubt the one person that did this will chime in on the conversation soon).

Assuming you hunt and loot critters this is already baked into the system (not exactly as proposed but in that a premium player will find more of these than a prime user will). Premium love given!

That's not a premium perk...that's just a byproduct of the treasure system. I mean actually get some freebies...but its probably not that big a deal if it doesn't happen.

Could all the transfer options be found as drops for premium people perhaps? Since the one transfer option apparently isn't dropped?
Or just other simucoin store items as rare drops would be neat, too. How about Duskruin tokens/slips?
Best would still be if everyone could just find small batches of simucoins in the treasure system, then they can get things that interest them in the store and, if they like them, may continue to buy them.
