Crossposting Viekn's Players Corner post. This can be helpful to new players looking to equip themselves using the many in game shops.

<Being that there's a fair amount of newer players right now and having run auctions and sold items that newer players sometimes find themselves unable to afford, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the ability to sift through items available within Gemstone NPC shops. These are shops available in each town that allow you to buy some fairly decent gear from.

I often make use of these shops when I'm developing a new character and there's not a lot of items in player shops or on this website to properly equip and attire my character the way I envision them.

It can take some time to go through everything and certainly some effort to get to a town to buy the thing you want, but there are also some great RP opportunities along the way to traveling and spending the time to get what you want for your character. And you just might find some friends along the way or find that you like a town so much you might want to spend more time there.>
