Script idea, World traveling feet! 05/25/2017 10:19 PM CDT
Or a bettername.
This will be a work in progress, feel free to offer suggestions!

Basically, the script would be an ambient message (everyone love ambients!) that is based on the Truefolk having their feet either uncovered (no socks, no shoes*!, no boots, etc) OR in open toed sandals. Anything else is just... elven!
Every so often the script would have a chance of firing off and based on the room terrain a different message would occur.

deciduous -
The soft sound of crunching leaves fills the air as you absently curl and stretch your toes, enjoying the soft terrain.
-The sound of crunching leaves fills the area as you notice Ordim playing with the leaves with his toes.

You glance down and pluck a few stray leaves from in-between your feet and your sandals, taking the time to attend to your toe hairs while down there.
-Ordim reaches down and clears a few bits of leaves from his sandals. Apparently unhappy with his toe hair style, he spends some time preening the long hairs.

Subterranean -
Taking a deep breath, you glance upwards and suddenly feel a great sense of dread. For a brief moment, you imagine that this is what it must be like to be a foot in a shoe.
Ordim gazes upwards for a moment before giving a shudder.

You glance down at your sandals and ponder what your toe hair might look like combed in the opposite direction might look like.
Ordim stares down at his sandals, lost in thought.

Grassland -
The tall grass sneaks in-between your toes, tickling you slightly and making you just a bit homesick.
Ordim shifts his footing with a grin that fades away as his face takes on a forlorn look.

You absently kick at some dandelion puffs that burst into seeds that drift off with a passing breeze.
Ordim sets off a small shower of dandelion seeds as he kicks a nearby flower.

I'll think of some more tomorrow after a good nights sleep! More ideas welcome! Free the feet!

Coniferous -
Lifting up your foot, you give a good shake, freeing several dry pine needles that have been tangled in your toe hair.
Ordim hops around on one foot while he tries to get some pine needles out of his feet.

The scent of fresh pine drifts across your nose as you notice a few needles have snuck between your feet and sandals and are now being ground into mush.
A pleased look cross Ordim's face as he looks down and finds a pine needle mess in his sandals.

Muddy Wetlands -
Your feet sink into the soft wet mud, relaxing you just a bit. You flick the water with your toes, creating loud little splashes that bring a smile to your face.
Ordim grins foolishly while he splashes the water playfully with his toes.

Standing still for a moment causes your feet to sink into the soft mud just enough to cause a suction effect as you pull them free.
A subtle SLURP sound emanates from Ordim's feet as he seemingly stomps around in the mud.

Sandy -
Burying your toes in the sand, you are suddenly overwhelmed with anxiety as you glance down and can't see your feet. Sandy goes flying as you quickly pull your foot back out, your toe hair keeping a few grains as trophies of their time covered.
Ordim wiggles his foot deep into the sand, then suddenly fearing it may never come out, abruptly pulls it back out, sending sand flying everywhere.

You reach down and remove your sandal, freeing a large amount of sand that had collected under your feet.
Ordim reaches down and removes his sandal, lifting it up to empty what appears to be a deceptively large amount of sand that was trapped under his foot.

I really don't like the name "world traveling feet", in retrospect it is just a horrible script name. That's what you get for posting in a rush late at night! What about, Idle feet are the Truefolks plaything! Yeah! That'll do it!

mountainous -
Glancing around at the sharp rocks that litter the area and thank your calluses for being as thick as they are.
Ordim glances around, squinting his eyes before giving a nod of satisfaction.

A sharp rock alerts you to its presents between your foot and sandal as you take a step forward. Grumbling, you reach down and remove it, sending it sailing down the side of the mountain with a quick toss.
Ordim grumbles to himself as he reaches down and removes a stone from his sandal, which he casually tosses down the side of the mountain.

Cultivated -
With the foot dexterity only a Truefolk can muster, you pluck a small flower from the ground and manage to wrap it into your toe hair in a stylistic fashion.
Only half paying attention, Ordim manages to work a small flower into his toe hair and make it almost look good!

The well-managed grass barely comes up over your sandals, lightly caressing your feet and filling your with relaxing thoughts.
Ordim gently swings his foot back and forth over the grass, a slight smile spreading across his face.

Fuzzy feet!

While I don't have a character that would personally wear these, A+ on them. I definitely enjoyed reading the post

Thanks! Some were very easy and fun to write while others are a bit harder to come up with. It's interesting to think of what it might be like to go everywhere barefoot.
Far Frolicking fuzzy feet! I like that name very much as well, thanks!

Tropical Forest -

Gazing around the forest you suddenly let out a giggle and look down to find a rather large beetle trapped in your toe hair. You quickly liberate the bug from its glorious prison and set it down on the forest floor.
Giggle to himself, Ordim reaches down and untangles a beetle from his toe hair.

The wet vegetation of the forest floor soaks your sandals, making each step a mix of squeaks and crunching.
