As the krovlin invasion continues on teras, I wonder that should a half-krovlin be in the room when the krovlin spit out their gutteral tongue would a half-krovlin PC be able to understand?

Unless the Krolvin NPC is speaking and it looks like so:
Khortal the Bloodmaster says something in Krolvin.
Then having a HK around won't make a difference.
Now if it's something like this:
Khortal says, "Ap junda ik burzka!"
That means the GM is using Krolgeh, a language documented here: http://www.play.net/gs4/info/tomes/krolgeh/home.asp

P.S.
I always veiwed Krolgeh as a "lower" tongue of the Krolvin language, which obviously anyone can learn.
The Krolvin language option that Half-Krol get to use, I see as being a "high" Krolvin language that would be virtually impossible for anyone not of the Blood to learn and speak.
