Despite being rather drunk, I've survived my first hunt in the Ruined Temple known as Nelemar.

Here are some momentary glimpses into the supernatural hunting skill of Keleborrn:

_______
You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing an elegant invar longsword at a siren!
AS: +483 vs DS: +409 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +56 = +172
... and hit for 66 points of damage!
Strike pierces temple and kills foe instantly!
The siren gives a plaintive wail before she slumps to her side and dies.
The brilliant luminescence fades from around a siren.
The scintillating brown light surrounding the longsword fades some.
Roundtime: 6 sec.
_____

A greater water elemental ripples while twisting on its vortex to survey the area.
The water elemental spins suspiciously as a ripple undulates through its form.
>
A greater water elemental just came down some short descending stairs.
>
A triton combatant briefly combs the shadows.
A triton combatant lets out a truncated gurgle as she glances about with eyes narrowed, anger clear in the sound's undertones.
>w

______

In an awe inspiring display of combat mastery, a triton radical engages you in a furious dance macabre, spiralling into a blur of strikes and ripostes!
A triton radical thrusts with a corroded bronze scaling fork at you!
You evade the attack by inches!

A triton radical thrusts with a corroded bronze scaling fork at you!
AS: +430 vs DS: +627 with AvD: +50 + d100 roll: +58 = -89
A clean miss.

A triton radical thrusts with a corroded bronze scaling fork at you!
You dodge just in the nick of time!

A triton radical thrusts with a corroded bronze scaling fork at you!
You move slightly, letting the attack pass harmlessly by!

A triton radical thrusts with a corroded bronze scaling fork at you!
Amazingly, you manage to parry the attack with your longsword!

____

You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing an elegant invar longsword at a siren!
AS: +483 vs DS: +417 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +3 = +111
... and hit for 35 points of damage!
Mighty swing separates head from shoulders.
The siren gives a plaintive wail before she slumps to her side and dies.
The brilliant luminescence fades from around a siren.
The scintillating brown light surrounding the longsword fades some.
Roundtime: 6 sec.

____

You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing an elegant invar longsword at a triton radical!
AS: +434 vs DS: +319 with AvD: +38 + d100 roll: +98 = +251
... and hit for 60 points of damage!
Gruesome slash to the triton radical's throat!
That stings... for about a second.
The triton radical collapses, gurgling once with a wrathful look on his face before expiring.
The dully illuminated mantle protecting a triton radical begins to falter, then completely fades away.
A white glow rushes away from a triton radical.
The dull golden nimbus fades from around a triton radical.
The brilliant aura fades away from a triton radical.
The very powerful look leaves a triton radical.
The white light leaves a triton radical.
A triton radical seems slightly different.
The warm glow fades from around a triton radical.
The scintillating brown light surrounding the longsword fades some.

That defense is pretty impressive. Tripled in dodge in robes?

Tripled in dodge, but in MBP. Switching to robes doesn't actually add much DS (but I outright dodge a lot). Rank 3 armored evasion.

Offensive stance is really where I've trying to scrounge up DS, and there's even less of a change from different armor there... I don't think I can get to where I want to be in offensive without DB items or something along those lines, short of begging for spells or maintaining a scroll collection (yuck).

I forget did you finally give in and start using a shield? Because if you trained in that more or TWC, either would be another source of DS. As would spell training, 120 and 430 both add to your DS although thats quite an investment in TPs.

Nope. I think I'll probably go towards TWC to get more DS eventually, but I just don't have the points for it yet.

I'm up to 411 and 107, going towards 414. Still trying to get back to doubled in picking/disarming, had to fixskills that away to find the points to 3x dodge.

Close (ha) though. Another million or two until I'm done with my current goals....
