How about a route that people could take between Pinefar and Ta'Illistim? A pass through the Northern Steppes around the eastern edge of the Spine. Perhaps traveling in an airship from a way point in the mountains to a Ta'Illistim dock?

I like that idea, but it might be easier and faster to code if it went from Pinefar or Mule to Zul. Have the dwarves cut a tunnel or stairs up the east side of the mountain to the top and a small store or shop of gnomes with the airship, then head west from there airborn. You would still have to walk to Zul but would ride the airship instead of having to go on any of the carts. That would likely cut the work in getting it finished done by a great deal.
The boat/ship/carts already exist, and the only trail need made is just up the side of the mountain and a gnome station. Everything else already exists in some form except for the scenery from the airship.
