what, L-bolting me or hollowing me out with a fist-scythe isn't enough for you? ;)
for others amusement:
>Raukturga swings with a blackened bronze fist-scythe at you!
> AS: +1085 vs DS: +646 with AvD: +39 + d100 roll: +19 = +497
> ... and hits for 163 points of damage!
> A mighty hit turns your insides to outsides!
btw, this is way off topic, but the next time there's an event on the mountain can you make it so people who die during an RP scene stay in the room? it sucks to be teleported back to a camp to rot by myself.
back on topic...
1. I've always thought it made sense for acid to cauterize a wound. it's actually used that way sometimes irl. i also think it should have a CHANCE to induce MINOR RT 5-10 seconds after the initial flare...like three seconds RT with messaging showing the critter trying to get the acid off.
2. as for cold...why doesnt it do a slow effect on more creatures? i think any water based or cold-blooded creatures should be susceptible. there are lots of lizards in the game.
3. vibration/earth seems a little...meh. why not have it knock something from their hands 1/5 times it flares. so basically every 25 hits on average? thats not overpowered. things that don't hold gear while hunting are immune, obviously. I'm having trouble imagining perks for this flare.
4. lightning is penalized a lot at cap, if you ask me. something should offset that. I don't have any ideas except a chance for convulsions that induce RT or perhaps stop the critter from swinging/casting. e.g. A grimswarm warrior starts to swing at you, but a sudden muscle spasm causes him to lose control!
if this sounds overpowering, just tweak the "chance" of any of these things happening.
