Multiple line returns 09/09/2010 10:34 AM CDT
Hi! I like how some of the GMs respond to posts with multiple questions by using multiple line breaks to separate the different thoughts.

How do you get two line breaks between paragraphs on these forums? Skipping multiple lines only gives me one and <br> doesn't work.

Use at least 4 consecutive = signs, or - signs.

Hmm.

I didn't mean those kind of lines.

I meant like, two carriage returns between paragraphs.

Any ideas on that one?

Hadn't really noticed but will look / watch for it.

And no, no idea. Seems like Robert's 'dot method' is the only way from what I've seen.

You can get two lines, no problem.

I use this for breaks between paragraphs.

More than two lines, won't really work. On the "second" one of them--set of two lines, that is--that I want, I use a "dot" [period], and then the two more lines.

I use this for breaks between ideas.

I use lots of them for things like Spoiler Gaps, or when I've said something smutty and still want to have a note at the bottom, or something like that. (I particularly like smutty bottoms. :)
