I just realized that one of the boost rewards being given for repeat days logins is a stat boost, Wasting one of these, I noticed that my logic bonus is lifted above the >=20 level. Maybe by the time I get to the last few ranks, I will have accumulated enough of these to help out a bit.
Currently at 290 in crafting and have been putting in 1-2 hours per day to the work. I notice that at this level, my 'Best' results now appraise as 'nice' versus the 'crude' they started as.

The command 'artisan skill' will tell you all the different accomplishment levels, and the number of ranks that goes with each level. Each level has a different description result that is associated with the quality of the result. 'Best' attempt pushes the quality up one from what is normal for the number of ranks you have earned.

Also, not confident enough in this to post on the wiki, so if someone wants to experiment, or a NIR wants to confirm ... well ... go for it.
