So I think I found a small / hard to create bug with familiars.
I sent my familiar looking for someone (Abandoned Farm, Parlor if that matters) and between the time my familiar went in search of them and before they found them the person logged out of the game. All good but the result was that every 10 or so seconds i get the following message:

>tell fam to bark

You feel more refreshed.
