Can't drink Yabathilium? 10/20/2015 11:30 PM CDT

You take a drink from your tincture of yabathilium.
Nothing happens.
[Because your account is free, you cannot use this spell.]
That was the last drop.
You set the yabathilium aside.

Is this intentional? Because it's annoying, especially since it wastes the potion. Doubly so when you have a poison that could kill you that you're planning to deal with using the yabathilium tinctures your alchemist friend gave you.

I'm sure that's a bug... Betting since the potion uses an older spell it got missed as one of the ones that is able to be used by F2P. I can't see how that would be expected to be intended given the usual logic behind what is not allowed to be used by F2P.

No, that is a bug. It has been fixed, but unfortunately, only affects new tinctures of yabathilium that are created from this point forward. Our apology and thanks for letting us know about the issue.
