experience penalty 09/22/2016 05:20 PM CDT
I'm an old timer trying out f2p for the first time. Read on wiki:

>Experience absorption is less efficient on a sliding scale. The first 10 levels are unchanged. After level 10, the efficiency of absorption gradually decreases. This can be fully or partially offset with experience passes.

My little wizard is still under 10 but experience seems to get throttled sometimes, can't figure out why. And it only happens every other pulse (only on the ones that don't give you mana), as I sit in the same place not doing anything. Sometimes it is as much as 12 or 13 points less on the every other pulse, seems to diminish a bit over time, most of the time it doesn't do it at all and I don't know what triggers this effect.

Anyone else seen this and figured it out? Or if a GM could explain a bit. I just want to know that this isn't a bug, and maybe some basic information about why this happens. Thanks.
