Pretty much a PERFECT weapon... If I were using the runestaff as a 2Hand weapon, rather than as a, you know, runestaff.

Because I'm seriously thinking of replacing my "remove/wear shield" macro pair, with "get/stow battleaxe", and just have that in my left hand for the boosts while using the runestaff for defense.
